In my projects I also participate in the prompts presented to the audience. My goal is to lessen the spectrum of difference as much as possible. Where hierarchy is a space for difference in every permutation, such as viewer/artist and teacher/student, I look to flip power dynamics in different iterations. This approach acknowledges how everyone has something different to offer in an interaction.
