Latest Winter Solstice is upon us! The Juneau Community Charter School play is coming to a close and the family can't wait to go down south for a few weeks!
Sarah Conarro grew up in north Georgia near Atlanta in a quaint gold mining town called Dahlonega. With no movie theater/Walmart/mall, Sarah blames her four siblings for the beginnings of her creative energy. Sarah later graduated from the University of Georgia with a BFA in painting and drawing. Her work is a range of painting, prints, drawings, prints and installations. After what was thought to be a temporary move to Juneau in January 2006, Sarah has found herself a new home in Alaska. In the arts, Sarah loves collaborating with others of all ages, creating messes, and coming up with hair-brained ideas to make happen.
